Elizabeth C. Simon is a full-time arbitrator and mediator based in Chicago. Since 2006, Liz has focused her practice in the following three areas:
Prior to becoming a full-time neutral, Liz practiced labor and employment law for over 20 years. She has resolving hundreds of employment, contract and general business cases. She works with corporate divisions and departments, small businesses and government agencies on cases ranging from discrimination, wage and hour and other statutorily protected employment laws to cases involving executive contracts, non-compete and severance agreements. She was instrumental in creating and managing the Federal Aviation Administration’s mediation program and has also designed dispute resolution programs for health care and graduate schools.
She serves on the adjunct faculty at Loyola University Chicago Law School and DePaul University College of Law.
