In both arbitration and mediation, knowledge of the law and the industry matters.
Prior to becoming a full-time neutral, Elizabeth worked for more than 20 years as a labor and employment and general litigation attorney. She represented clients in employment, contract and general business cases, including issues related to EEO law, executive contracts, non-compete agreements and severance matters. She has represented individuals as well as small and medium-sized businesses, large, multi-national corporations, and health care organizations. Beginning in 2002, Elizabeth's interests turned to dispute resolution. She was instrumental in creating and managing the Federal Aviation Administration's mediation program for the Great Lakes Region. Since then, in addition to running her own business, she has served on non-profit boards, court-appointed committees, and dispute resolution organizations. She is also a regular speaker at seminars and trainings in the area of dispute resolution. |
